Before the waters parted (Pesach 2025) Limited edition print
Before the Waters Parted
Limited edition of 15 — 30 × 40 cm — $72 USD
Painted at sunset on Tel Aviv beach, this was my first seascape—a quiet moment holding the weight of history. I was thinking about Pesach, about standing at the edge of the Red Sea, and all the times our people have waited for the waters to part.
From Holocaust survivors arriving by boat, to today’s uncertainty after October 7, this stretch of coastline carries both hope and fear. This painting is that in-between moment—the stillness before movement, the breath before a miracle.
